Welcome to The Relisher’s Amalfi Coast edition! This week, I met with Aldo Serale, Operations Manager at Le Sirenuse—one of the world’s most legendary hotels—located in Positano on the Amalfi Coast.

Le Sirenuse is a family-run hotel established by the Sersale family in 1951. Aldo, having grown up in the family business, lives and breathes both the region and its rich tradition of hospitality.

On a personal level, this was another one of my favorite interviews—there’s something infectious about the passionate energy of Italian hotelier families. Listening to Aldo talk about his favorite places made me want to book a trip to Amalfi immediately.

Below, the Amalfi local shares all of his favorite spots along the coast—from restaurants and the best place for aperitivo to beautiful stores, Amalfi’s most delicious Italian sweets, and more.
