Where a Local, Michelin-Starred Chef Eats in Miami
Meet the Chef Behind Miami’s Most Talked-About New Restaurant, EntreNos
The Relisher is where the world’s top chefs reveal their favorite restaurants in their hometowns. This week, I met with chef Evan Burgess, the co-owner of Michelin-starred EntreNos in Miami —a relatively new restaurant that opened in October 2023 and has already earned a Michelin star.
Before launching EntreNos, Chef Evan honed his craft at some of Chicago’s best restaurants including Michelin-starred BOKA, Band of Bohemia, and Next Restaurant.
“In cities like Chicago, LA, and New York, there’s no shortage of quality cooks wanting to work at top places. Miami is getting there, and that’s because the dining scene is gaining in quality.
What sets Miami apart from these cities is its strong Hispanic influence. Often called the capital of Latin America, Miami offers a unique mix of cultures. Unlike LA or New York, where you might find a distinct Chinatown or Koreatown, Miami has flavors from all over Latin America spread throughout the city. This variety is what makes it so special.”
Below, the Miami native shares his favorite spots in Miami, along with his top restaurants worldwide and his restaurant wish list.
