Welcome to The Relisher’s Milan edition! This week, I met with Antonio Guida, the executive chef of Seta, the fine-dining restaurant of Mandarin Oriental, Milan. Since joining in 2015, he has earned two Michelin stars—the first in his debut year and the second in 2016.

Throughout his career, the Italian chef has honed his craft in some of the country’s most prestigious kitchens, including the three-Michelin-starred Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence, Don Alfonso 1890 on the Amalfi Coast, and Restaurant Il Pellicano at Hotel Il Pellicano.

Below, the local chef shares his favorite spots in Milan, from restaurants and pizzerias to gelato and pastry shops—and more. (Note: A Google Map with all locations listed is provided at the end of the interview.)
